A couple embracing, one hand at the other back

The Romance

Someday isn’t on the calendar.

Every couple has the trip they keep talking about. Then the anniversary arrives and gets a dinner reservation, again. I put someday on the calendar and do the work between here and there.

The prix fixe problem

The tenth anniversary should not look like the second.

The early trips were easy. Then life got dense: careers, kids, a house, a calendar where the two of you’re the last item on it. Celebrations shrink to fit. The trip you both keep mentioning stays theoretical because neither of you has ten free hours to plan it.

Romance isn’t a rose on a pillow. For one couple it’s a villa in the Greek islands with a library and no plans. For another it’s oysters at midnight in a city neither of you can pronounce yet. So I start with questions, not destinations. And if the occasion is a proposal, I plan it with one of you and keep the secret.

What is included

The whole trip, not just the room.

  • The property

Fora Reserve and partner hotels with the perks negotiated in: upgrades when available, resort and spa credits, breakfast, late checkout. For privacy, a full villa with staff or a private chef.

  • The itinerary, day by day

A custom plan built with you and revised until it’s right. Tastings, cooking classes, boats, spa afternoons, the table that books out ninety days ahead. Everything reserved before you land.

  • The occasion, marked

The anniversary dinner worth the flight. The proposal staged without the other one knowing. The champagne that arrives at the right moment because someone told the hotel it was the right moment.

  • The ground game

Airport transfers that are actually waiting, private drivers between towns, cars delivered to the hotel when you want to take a coast road yourselves.

  • The insurance

Unromantic, and the first thing you’ll want if a storm meets your week. I handle it.

  • While you’re on it

One number to message. When plans meet weather or a ferry schedule lies, I fix it while you finish dinner.

How it works

Three steps.

1

We talk

Twenty minutes. Who’s going, roughly when, what a great trip looks like to you, and the budget you’re comfortable with. I’ll tell you honestly what’s possible, including when the answer is “go somewhere else, and here’s why.”

2

I build

A real proposal: the property, the rooms, the day by day, the transfers, the reservations, and the reasoning behind each choice. We revise it together until it’s yours. Planning is complimentary.

3

You go

I book every piece, confirm it, and stay reachable for the length of the trip. When plans meet reality, you make one call and go back to your dinner.

Questions

The things people ask first.

What does this cost?
My planning is complimentary. The properties and suppliers pay me out of their side, and you typically pay the same rate you’d find booking directly, sometimes better, with perks attached that you can’t get on your own. If that ever changes for a specific trip, you’ll know before we start, not after.
We have no idea where to go.
Good. That’s the fun part, and it’s what the first call is for. Come with nothing but the two of you and a rough budget. I’ll come back with directions you hadn’t considered and the honest case for each.
We have completely different travel styles.
Most couples do. One of you wants the beach, one wants the ruins. The fix is structural, not a compromise that leaves you both mildly disappointed: the trip gets built in movements, and each of you gets days that are unmistakably yours.
Can you help me plan a proposal without my partner finding out?
Yes, and I treat the secret like a professional obligation. We plan together over email or calls you control, nothing arrives at a shared address, and on the day, every logistic is invisible. All you carry is the ring and the question.
Is a babymoon worth doing?
If you want one, yes, and the planning matters more than usual: shorter travel, an easier pace, a property where doing nothing is the activity. Timing and comfort are yours and your doctor’s call. Making the week effortless is mine.
How far out should we plan?
For a milestone trip at the best properties, four to eight months buys the most options. But anniversaries arrive on a schedule, and I have built excellent trips on six weeks. Tell me the date and I’ll tell you honestly what’s possible.
